I would appreciate help in Downloading. I am using Baud Bandit with an Amiga
4000. So far when I download, I am using B Protocol which is supported by Baud
Bandit. It seems as though it is downlading OK, as I get a flow of figures on
the screen, and then it stops, indicating,[I believe] that it has been
successful. However when I go offline, the Download does not appear in my Ram
section to which it has been directed. Should I use X Modem instead, or what am
I doing wrong. I have now been trying to get the hang of this, without much
success, for over two weeks. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Make certain you call in with Baud Bandit set for 8-N-1 (8 bits, No
parity, 1 stop Bit)… that should do it… and by all means, download and
try the demo version of Autopilot in library 9 of AmigaVendor Forum (GO
AMIGAV)
The most common reason for your problems is incorrect serial settings. Be
sure you are set to 8-n-1. Gotta have those 8 bits set in order to
download 8-bit binary.
