#Gone but not forgotten?

I can't tell from Headers what message(s) will give me the info I want and
I just haven't the patience to go through them all..could someone sum up
what is happening with the gone but not forgotten Commodore company? Has
someone bought it or what? Does anyone know if the European companies are
affected..especially CommodoreUK?

AT this point…nothing official, just rumors, the strongest of which
is that Samsung will be buying out the company and will continue to produce
Amiga's.
Again…that is just RUMOR, nothing official yet.

Nothing has been officially announced yet. When we do get an announcement
that is 'official' we'll put it in the NEWS FLASH so that it can't be
missed unless you don't read the Forum NEWS FLASH.
I've already forgotten about Commodore since 1988…The Amiga will
never die, tho, look at the hellish time that the original A1000
owners had back in 1985 and how far we have gotten today. I think
there's still hope.

Geez, I saw the external drive for the latest Toshiba laptops, I mistook it for
a 3.5" disk!

Ah yes, the A1200… well, actually unlike other computer chassis/cases the
Amigas were designed much like a Strat violin. Finely tuned to enhance the
tonal quality of "Groooonk! Grooooonk!" ;-}
