Your program "The Movie Machine" is fantastic! My fee for the registered
version was placed in the mailbox this morning. This is exactly the program
that I've been dying for.
One request for a "feature":
Is it possible to regulate the playback speed of the animations? If you could
do this, the program would be PERFECT!

Can be downloaded from the Utilities section of the libs. It allows you to sync
sound to a particular frame in a flic from within windows.

control and several other features to my next release.

I also tried out movie machine briefly, It is pretty nice.
I wonder if you can save the file as avi? I may need to add other control over
the movie and needs to know the API.
Does registered copy have avi and API for DLL?

I'm not quite sure what you need to do but I think you want to know my .MVE
file format. The file begins as follows:
Animation file name (.FLI or .FLC)
Music file name (.MID)
After that I have a long list of frame numbers referencing WAV files.
If no WAV file is associated, then the field is blank (yes, I know
this is not very efficient — I plan to make this better). Scripting
is saved in a different file format. The MVE file format is ASCII.
The MVE file doesn't need to use a DLL interface because it's so
simple. I haven't heard of AVI. Can you give me more information
about it?

AVI file format is Microsoft invented format for video and audio interleaving,
very popular now. It will be used in Chicago.
Let me know if you would support AVI. There are some programs available to deal
with that format.

Yes, I found out more about AVI today. I will need to make a
conversion program from my MVE format to Microsoft's AVI. Later, I
may be able to incorporate AVI-in and AVI-out commands, but that's in
the future. For now, The Movie Machine doesn't support AVI format.

I agree. I only need to find the format of AVI files. I think I'll
look for a book on that stuff.
