Can anyone help me find a "simple" mesh file of a stereotypical palm
tree? I say "simple" because it would only be an incidental part of
an animation, viewed from a distance. A stylized, simplified palm
could be just as useful for this purpose as a detailed,
photorealistic one. I'm basically looking for tropical window
dressing to place next to a simple logo.
I am working against a tight deadline (next Wednesday, June 1) and
don't have much of a budget for this particular item. Thanks for any
help offered!

Time to slap your forehead <g>. How about the file distributed with 3D
Studio (I believe both version 2 & 3) called PALMTREE.3DS, in the Meshes
sub-directory?
