I have an A2000 with GVP G '40 @ 33, KS 2.0 and O.S. 2.0., 2 Megs chip
ram, and 16 Megs fast RAM, Picasso II with 2 Megs video RAM. I was told in
the past that Magic Workbench would work on my system. I've tried to
install it twice with no luck- each time, my system locked up completely,
and I had to reboot from my Workbench floppy and erase all MagicWB data to
get up and running again. Do you or any body else out there have any
helpful comments on this?

Try installing MAGIC3.LHA instead of MAGIC.LHA. The icons in 3 have been
reduced to 8 colors (I think) for non-AGA machines.

I appreciate your input. I might try Magic3 and accept the compromise
of 8 colors but first I'll take Kenneth Olsen's suggestion and see if that
works.

This is part of a message the author of MWB sent me after I sent the
shareware. I think it was worth it.

I hope it works for you. I asked about a hundred times, and although
everyone was very helpful, nothing else worked. The above did just fine.
Is there really a bug in "some versions IconX"? Beats me.

I'll give it a try. Thanks for your suggestion.
If I can get this to work on my system, I will be more than happy to
send the author a check. I've seen pictures of the MWB screen as well as a
live screen at the Toronto WOCA last year and it looks great.
