MagicWB Setup

I just downloaded and installed MagicWB 1.2p. The results are great,
before I send the auther the fee, though, I'd like some help fine tuning
the prefs. Since, as far as I can tell he is only contactable via
snailmail, I hope someone here can give me a hand.
I wanted to try out several of the 35 background patterns. I opened my
Prefs window, and opened WBPattern. I had, previously copied the entire
contents of the Pattern Dir on my floppy to the Patterns dir in Prefs.
After the 8 color window opened, using the pull down menu I clicked on
"open" and attempted to load one of the patterns. Each time I did this I
got a requester window telling me the following, "Error processing IFF
File SYS:Prefs/Patterns/Marble_CLASSIC". Is it me or my SYS? or both
any help would be appreciated.

The IFF pics that come with MagicWB are actual IFF graphics, not patterns. You
need Nickprefs or any program that displays IFF graphics as WBpictures.
