Check out AutoPilot in Library 9 of the AmigaVendor Forum. The file is called AP.LHA. It is shareware. You download it, unpack it in a temporary directory (like RAM:), and install it with the install script that is included. The demo version has certain capabilities disabled. When you want to register, follow the included instructions. Make *sure* you go on-line only wit the demo version of AutoPilot after registering, since the demo version is automatically converted to the registered version by a binary e-mail, but only if your demo version receives it. AutoPilot minimizes your compuserve charges by automating c-mail and forum correspondence and downloading. You do all of your editing and reading off-line. It is not a general program to let you hunt around in the different parts of compuserve. I've heard some people say it's much better than CIM, but I imagine that's a matter of taste. There's a similar windows program, but I don't remember the name (NavCIS?). A non-amigoid friend of mine preferred it over CIM. In case you don't have it, you'll need a program called lha to uncompress the file AP.LHA. I think it's in a library in the AmigaUser forum, but I'm not sure exactly where. The file is called LHA138.RUN, and you just download it, move it to the directory you want it to be in (like Workbench:c or some other directory on your path) and type "LHA138.RUN" in a shell.
