Hey Terry, Thanks for your help on the sphere rotation problem I had a
while back. You had the right answer! Here's a new one… I need to
know the easiest way to crop part of a scene where I can create a
small portion of an animation so that later I can overlay this
animation onto a larger image of the full scene. Does this make
sense? It seems difficult to do this so that the smaller image (AVI
file) always lines up with the larger BMP.
I know Ian Firth has talked about this before, he may have some
insight on this. Ian are you there?
Michael,
Yes, I have been trying to do that for 9 months now, to no avail…. and from
what I gather, the option will not be in 2.0 (Caligari, please, please,
please…).
It's a must have feature as I am concerned, and the only workaround I have
found is to render the whole image for however many frames as BMPs. Then
surgically remove each element you need, and compile to an AVI. Painstaking,
but do-able…
Regards,
Ian
