#New Product Info Wanted!

Hi folks. Just wanted to remind anyone who's doing Amiga products that I'm
doing the USA News column for the UK magazine "Amiga Computing." Not only does
it get great distribution in Europe, but it's also one of the two magazines
being offered to former AmigaWorld subscribers.
If your North American company is releasing new or updated products for the
Amiga, I'd love to know about them so I can include them in my column! Please
send email to this address, or to dennya@nr.infi.net, with info on new
developments.
(If you're not with a company, but you know of something new and neat, I'd
appreciate a note as well, so we can make sure Amiga developers in the U.S. and
Canada get the attention they deserve.)

Good to see you'll be working for another Amiga mag, and one that I should
be getting too! Lets hope that the news (amiga wise) continues to improve and
that we're not mourning the death of any of the mags (or the computer) any time
soon!

four years now. Now a few more US folks will actually see it. 🙂

I'd never heard of that particular UK mag 'til AW went down. Wonder how
long it'll take to get my first issue. Do you know whether they'll be
including the disks along with the mag?
I remember you from the AMIC BBS way back around 1987, by the way. So I guess

It's a VERY long story, but the upshot is that Dave/Al never finished the
program and Dave is either in jail or has been deported. If you want the
"juicy" detaiils, drop me a C-mail… Unfortunately they can't be published so
it would have to be for your info only. 🙂

Sorry, I haven't heard a thing from AC as to how the U.S. version of the
magazine's going to be distributed. Editorial folks tend to be out of the loop
on stuff like that, and freelancers even more so.

Guess I'll find out what we get when they start shipping!
I'm anxious to see the next edition (I've got a subscription) of Amiga
Format. Pleasance/Proudfoot have been so vocal there, it should be
interesting…:)

For the record, Amiga Computing currently has the second lowest circulation of
all the UK Amiga mags. It's last audited circulation was 33,546.
