Made copy of Wordperfect disk by dragging icons onto "empty" disk. When I click on Wordperfect icon, message "please insert Wordperfect" message comes, trapped between "retry" and "cancel", I can get in by clicking on "cancel" about 20 times. ???????? Please & thanx help. Doug Campbell.

<<Made copy of Wordperfect disk by dragging icons onto "empty" disk. When I click on Wordperfect icon, message "please insert Wordperfect" message >> The disk isn't named 'copy of wordperpect' is it? if so you will have to rename it to just wordperfect. -Peter Motorollin' with G-Force 68040 on AutoPilot

Do I understand that you want to make a copy of the WordPerfect diskette onto another diskette? You say "dragging icons (plural, not 'icon') onto empty disk" .. again, were you copying files by dragging indivdual icons from the original disk (wrong!) or copying the whole disk by dragging its icon and dropping it over the icon of the "empty" disk? You need to do a diskcopy (drag/drop the disk icon), not a file copy (some files won't show up as icons). Then you need to make sure that the copy diskette has the label "Wordperfect", exactly the same as the original – rename the copied disk to make it so. On the other hand, maybe we're unclear as to what you're doing: perhaps you are trying to install WordPerfect onto a hard disk. If so, come back to us and restate the problem: there are a new set of things you may need to do on a HD installation. –Jim
