The Amiga SysOps are pleased to invite you to attend
AN EVENING WITH
L O U W A L L A C E
Join us Tuesday evening January 19th in AmigaUser Conference Room # 1.
We'll start to gather at 10:00 pm EST; at 10:30 pm EST, Mr. Wallace will
join us and we will begin the FORMAL CONFERENCE portion of the evening,
where anyone can ask questions on a wide variety of Amiga related topics.
Then, at 11:30 pm or so, the conference will become informal, and everyone
can join in at once to discuss any and all Amiga related topics. Mr.
Wallace will 'hangout' with us until either he gets bored <g> or he can no
longer hold his eyes open… whichever comes first.
Sounds great … shame I can't attend since it is the early hours of the
morning 🙁
However, for those who don't know who Lou Wallace is perhaps you could
elaborate 🙂

The current News Flash (from the forum ANNOUNCEMENTS menu) gives some
detail on Lou's backgrounf and qualifications.
This should be a VERY exciting COnference. Lou has a great deal of
experience in so many areas of interest to Amiga users, and he's not even
out to SELL us anything! <g>
I hope that those who have never before atended a live COnference give
this one a try. Signing on at 300 baud from 10:00 to midnight will only
cost about $14… and I think that's an incredible value to be able to
participate in a (if you'll pardon the expression) 'Round Table'
discussion with someone of Lou's caliber.
Sorry about the timing… we tried to set the COnference up for a Saturday
morning (EST), but with all of the trade shows and Lou's travel schedule
of late, he needs to keep that time for more personal things.
