mini-liquidation at UUI. What is your viewpoint as to the ESCOM new- ownership

Actually, all of this equipment is my personal stash of 'extra' stuff that I
have two or more of each. 🙂
As long as ESCOM builds new machines, everything will be peachy (and we can go
ahead a release new products, like the A1200 EMPLANT)… if not, then it looks
gloomy for any new products. But, on the bright side, if no new machines are
sold, we are still looking at a good 5 year market window for existing
products.
I too have a stash of add ons. I get attached to them even turning down offers
of buying them. I have just lent an unused accelerator to a friend as a bribe
not to buy a PC.

Do you have anything for sale or know of a board that will allow me to
capture images from my Video cameras output ? If so, how much. If not, what
kind of board do I need, where is it available, and how much should I not pay

DCTV, a magic box which offers the following:
1) slow-scan (~10 sec.) color digitizer
2) true-color display (shows especially-encoded 16-color images as almost-full
NTSC color, works with animations too!)
3) nice paint package with painterly feel. (Watercolor, etc.)
A standard offer would be $250.

Hi Rich –
One of the winners from Newtek was their DigiView, which caputured a picture
from a video signal in ham colors and saved it to the Amiga. It plugs into the
parallel port. We have a complete system, including the copy stand and b/w
camera it used. But, it does produce a complete ham rgb picture.
Of course, you can do it with a Toaster, but that's a pretty big bundle.
