Help! Our user group, as well as some others I'm told, made a special quantity order of Haitex 3D glasses, as per their offer in a letter dated May 16. When they didn't deliver, we tried calling them. Now, after a lot of phone calls, it appears that they are out of business (though they did cash our check). Does anyone know if someone else has picked up the business and/or the stock of glasses? The last known info is: Haitex Resources 208 Carrolton Pk. Suite 1207 Carrolton TX 75006 (214) 241-8030 Our board will be making a decision as to what to do this Wed. night, so any helpful replies made by Tues PM would be, well, er, helpful!

There is another DTV magazine that just launched it's premiere issue. It has a title of Desktop Video and a banner of ComputerVideo. "Desktop Video World" is what the placard says above the magazine rack. I can't go see the newstand yet, but I had him check the magazine's info page and there is no mention of Lou or Wallace. Is someone pulling a fast one? This can't be your magazine, right?

You are refering to COmputer Video, a magazine put out by Camcorder magazine. And no, this IS NOT OURS! DTV World is a info packed professional magazine. You will know it when you see it! Lou

Lou, just picked up a copy of your DTV World…fantastic magazine! This is a very nice, and as you said it's information packed, magazine. I was so anxious that I bought a copy off the newstand rather than wait for my subscription copy. <grin> I don't regret it for a minute because I intend to get my extra copy to a friend and recommend he subscribe as well. Congratulations to you and your crew for a great release! Kermit Woodall Nova Design, Inc.

Thanks Kermit! Everyone worked very very hard on it. We intend to keep making it better too. The next issue will have 3D in the Spotlight section, a look at multimedia presentation software that supports digital video, articles on buying a VTR and camcorder for DTV work, a tutorial on creating a demo reel, plus a preview of a popular 3D programs upcoming new version release…plus all the regular features. Lou
