I just got a look at your gumball.jpg. Looks great. The bottom even looks like
painted metal. The only problem is that it came out REALLY DARK on my monitor,
but that may just be my monitor.

The Image may very well have been too dark…my monitor tends to be too light
and I never really know how it'll look on someone else's. I need to have it
checked.

Yep, image was too dark. I couldn't even see the front plate with the
turn-knob untill I turned the brightness all the way up. Other than that,
great piece of modelling and coloring/texturing. It looks just like the real
thing.

Thanks for the comments on my work. I guess I need to look into this darkness
thing. Just curious, how dark were the Hell Train and Daisy pictures? Were
they also pretty dark? GUMBALL.JPG is not darker than those two on my
moinitor. Do you think it could just be the upload or is that even posible?

From what I recall, Daisy was fine, and Hell train needed some minor gamma
adjustment to make some more of the detail stand out.

That's not possible. The image is as you uploaded it. It may be that you have
your brightness turned up too much on your monitor, so you naturally create
images that will look darker on other people's monitors. Try this, at the DOS
prompt type "CLS" to clear the screen. Close the lights in the room. Look at
your monitor, and adjust the brightness so that the active screen area is the
same degree of black as the inactive area.

Actually, the brightness is all the way down and the screen is as dark as I can
get it. For some reason my monitor stays pretty bright. I have played with
the settings several times and can't get it darker. 🙁
