Barrie- I must say that I jumped the gun in telling you to get busy and upload, I found your steam roller just a few minutes after I had sent that E-Mail. About the image…I like it. I can tell you spent mucho time on modeling the fine details. I can appreciate exact detail, I tend to over do detail at times causing problems with time and memory. Very nice modeling. The plug in the background is a nice touch as well as the baseboard molding. I just think it is a great piece of modeling. Encore. Darin

Darin, Again, thanks for the complements. The plug you mentioned was added at a later date as I felt that the picture of the little steam roller needed some scale. Times where the zone render comes in handy eh !. In terms of time/memory, it took an embarrassing 12 1/2 hours to render (640 X 512) and ate just under the 10 megs I have to render the whole scene – there were times where I thought she just wasn't going to take it <g> -. The most difficult and time consuming part was the spoked wheel created in the spline editor. There are also some other very intersting shapes but I won't go on and take up space. As far as an Encore goes, I'll try 🙂 Best Regards, Barrie R Scott
