Hi Alex, >>It is the BEST blanker for the Amiga.<< I'll try it out when I have the time. Thanks for the info. >>But if all Belgians (?) are as crazy as the ones I have met in Breuxels (?) I a not very surprised ;)<< The ones in Brussels are usually even from the better kind. Where I come from you still have to explain what computers are and what you can use them for. Hi Bart, >> I'll try it out when I have the time. Thanks for the info. I assure you that you won't regret it. But if you encounter problems, please let me know… >> The ones in Brussels are usually even from the better kind. Where I come from you still have to >> explain what computers are and what you can use them for. I recognized that when I was looking for any computer stores back then. But what I really ment was, that these people seemed so nervous, so preoccupied. I drove there with my car and ten minutes in the city I decided, that I would put the car in a garage and wouldn't touch it, until it was time to drive home. It really frightened me how they drove… 😉 Bye Alex

Alex, Have you any idea where I can find the Blitzblanker? I have looked for it in the libraries but I seem to be unable to locate it. >>I recognized that when I was looking for any computer stores back then.<< I believe that's the reason they sell so well. They aren't stopped by any real knowledge so when trying to sell they make the wildest promises. >>It really frightened me how they drove…<< As a peecee trainer I am often asked “WHY'' something is like it is. My favourite example is then: Here in Belgium we drive on the right side of the road, in the UK they drive on the left side and there are proportionally less accidents than in Belgium so I guess driving on the left side is safer. However, in Germany they drive on the right side and there are proportionally less accidents than in the UK. So I guess that choosing another side won't solve the problem since apparently the discipline of the population is the real issue here… Bart Van Bockstaele at 100574.2352@compuserve.com … On AutoPilot and Amiga all the way from Belgium …

Hi Bart, >> Have you any idea where I can find the Blitzblanker? I have looked for it in the libraries but I seem to be unable to locate it. Well, it should be in the screen utilities library. I guerss it is called BBlank250.lha. >> I believe that's the reason they sell so well. But maybe you should drive in the middle of the road. This way you will at least achieve number one position in accidents in Europe ;)) (Your example kind of reminds me what I read when I came to Kenya: In Kenya we drive on the left side of the road. Theoretically! ;)) Bye Alex

Alex, >>Well, it should be in the screen utilities library I have found it. It is called BLITZB.LHA in the screen utilities library. For one reason or another it was not in my libraryfile. >>;)) Couldn't programmers qualify for this category also ? Most definitely. I am a programmer, I know. >>But maybe you should drive in the middle of the road. Good idea! In fact, it is even done my *huge* numbers of people. >>This way you will at least achieve number one position in accidents in Europe << I thought we were. We are always told Belgium is *THE* best! <g> >>In Kenya we drive on the left side of the road.<< That must be the English heritage. How is Kenya to live in? I think it is a wonderful country. Hi Bart, >> I have found it. It is called BLITZB.LHA in the screen utilities library. For one reason or another it was not in my libraryfile. Good. Now for the interesting part: How do you like it? 🙂 >> Most definitely. I am a programmer, I know. I thought so 😉 >> Good idea! In fact, it is even done my *huge* numbers of people. I _knew_ I was right to put my car in a garage during my stay 🙂 >> I thought we were. We are always told Belgium is *THE* best! <g> At least you have one of the best cinema compelxes I ever saw. The Cinedom and I-MAX in Brussels! >> That must be the English heritage. How is Kenya to live in? I think it is a wonderful country. Well, the people there are very poor. Some things you see are very shocking! But on the other hand: people are normally very friendly towards visitors and they always like to talk (and if it is only to get you to buy something ;)). But seeing all these poor people it is almost impossible to believe that Kenya is the wealthiest of all countries in this part of africa. All surrounding countries are much poorer and there is also lots of warfare going on (Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Smolaia and Ethiopia). But (again :)) if you like to see fabulous sun-downs, incredible landscapes and lots of cool animals then Kenya is the place to be (together with Tanzania)… Bye Alex
