Help!!!!
I can't get my printer to print. The printer initializes then a few seconds
later I get a requester asking me to check printer or cabling. This problem
all began after I swapped some stuff from one 1200 to another (accelerator, HD
and SCSI converter). Since then I have disabled and even removed these other
things without any luck. I have also tried different cables and printers with
no luck.
Thanks -Jim-
Jim,
There's a possibility you blew one of the 8520's when you added the
stuff. Try swapping the 8520's (presuming they're socketted) and see if your
problems change.

Don,
We're talking a 1200. Am I SOL?

James,
I don't know…I've never been inside a 1200.
Don
It is pretty bad it it truly is one of the 8520's… They are surface-mounted
in an A1200.

If you need repair, PSI in Pennsylvania has all the equipment to repair surface
mounted chips on all Amigas.
There phone is 215-443-8330. Ask for Rich Sabort and tell them Hank sent you.
With any luck, they won't hang up.
