#How 2 Explode???

Hello, YOST-Group!
I'm suffering from the following problem:
I need to animate a kind of stone-mill that works in the following way.
Stones slip over a slipway are then accelerated by a Rotor and smash against
steelplates, where they explode into thousands of particels.
Now, is there any IPAS-routine to help me animating this explosion
with a kind of 'intelligence'? That is, the stone 'recognizes' that it
touches the steelplate, explodes, and the particels themselves do NOT
fly through the steelplates or the rotor but follow the 'natural' way out
of the mill???
Is this possible with 'DISINTEGRATE' or 'EXPLODE'???
Are there other routines??

You may want to search the library with a keyword "Dynamic Motion" for the
Dynamic Motion Module that will accurate keyframing of object interactions.
There is another IPAS called Key Factory by Schreiber which will similarly
compute keyframe data for moving/coliding objects.

Our Dynamic Motion Module might do the trick. We have just recently added some
particle systems that could help with the exploding part of the animation.
We won't be shipping the version with the particles for another couple of
weeks.

Sounds really good.
But is it also possible to 'connect' an other IPAS-routine like disintegrate to
your DMM?
That is, after desintegrating an Object (maybe it bounces several times before
it explodes) the particels keep the DMM-information?
When will your new DMM be shipped?
What is the price?

work.

Schreiber's Key Factory IPAS has an implode and explode function along with
friction and drag among many other useful real world functions.
I've used it for to simulate some nice particle effects
