#My Uploads
7 messages in this thread
Hi Everyone,
I am about to upload a few files to the forum that I wanted to mention, in case
anybody's interested:
1) RealGirl.zip (to Images section)
2) GirlMesh.zip (to Mesh/Project Files section)
3) Car.zip (to Animations section)
RealGirl.zip
============
RealGirl.jpg is 4 views of a racy female mesh in lingerie, which was produced
using a new system in *one day*. The mesh is pretty simple for a human mesh
(only 6500 or so vertex lattice), but is quite effective. The lattice was
*exported* to 3DS & **re-skinned** with SKIN.axp, and the "lingerie" and other
mapping demonstrates the precise parametric mapping you can retain within 3DS.
**Anyone offended by a female mesh in lingerie should avoid this upload.**
…long story short, I've been working with a company which is about to release
an amazing, very complete B-Spline modeler, and a book I'm writing on B-Spline
modeling with specifics related to this package. You may be interested to know
that polymeshes can be flawlessly exported to 3DS. But, what's really
interesting is that the *lattice* can be exported, and RE-SKINNED and
parametrically mapped in 3DS using YG's SKIN/SLICE routines !
This archive also includes several text documents formatted for Windows Write
or the 3DS Text Editor. A pointer to the uploads with additional information
will also be temporarily posted to TAKE5, if nobody minds. (See the TAKE 5
section for more info)
GirlMesh.zip
============
GirlMesh.zip is the actual 3DS Skin lattice mesh project after importing and
applying Skin.axp. Note that the mesh was not really built to be animated,
requires YG's SKIN.axp, and does not include the maps (sorry).
Car.zip
=======
In case there's anyone out there that isn't familiar with BonesPro & Lenz F/X
by now, this is a highly edited flic of a cute little car. This is basically
just the car composite layer made into a flic from the original NTSC frames. A
lot of editing was done to remove frames, in order to get this flic under 1MB.
The BG and other scene elements have been removed for this purpose as well.
Therefore, the motion is not ideal after extensive editing. Nevertheless, it
shows BonesPro doing it's thing well, and shows a simple but effective use of
Lenz F/X envelopes. It's just 200×150, so you may want to use a 640×480 flic
driver to "blow up" the playback.
Regards & Enjoy,
BILL
Hi Bill,
<< upload.. >>
My thanks to you for the upload! Looking forward to checking them out!
Hi Jonas,
You're welcome. I remember you had asked for something similar a long time ago,
and I promised…….anyway, this *isn't* the hires built-for-animation female
mesh I started then (back burner), but it's still interesting…..especially
considering *how* it was produced. BTW, I could only upload to MESH/PROJECT,
all others refused the upload ??
Thanks & Take Care,
BILL
Bill –
I checked all the library forum parameters to be sure they were set to public
access and they were. Your forum membership record also looks okay. Please let
me know if you can't upload to library again? I released all your library files
this morning – interesting!!

I have been looking for RealGirl.zip or RealGirl.jpg but it seems to be
invisible. I looked in AMMEDIA (Sec. 5) and also in ASHOWCASE. Has it been
removed? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Sorry, the filenames got truncated to 6.3. Please look for:
REALGI.zip, GIRLME.zip, and STUFF2.zip, all in this forum in the Mesh/Project
Files sections.

BILL

Thanks, I just assumed that the new software with longer names had been
installed along with the new forum name.
