#In search of meshes…
7 messages in this thread
We are looking for high-quality 3D Studio meshes of human figures (male and
female) and internal organs to supplement our current library…can anybody
recommend a reliable source for these?
Try ViewPoint Datasets. They have a Lib. on CD-Rom or a book. Other will help
you here too.

You can also get great people meshes from Tom Knight (Imagination Works)
408-354-5067.
I'm not sure if he has any internal organs though.

Check out the detailed info and sample images of Humanoid in the ANVENA
forum (GO ANVENA) – New Anim. Vendor library. Search with the keyword
CRESTLINE, and all the relevant files will come up. Humanoid is a set of highly
detailed, articulated human models with walking and running motions, and
morphing facial expressions deisgned to work with 3D Studio, LW or Imagine.
Regrettably we don't have any internal organs. If you have any questions,
please let me know and I'll be happy to answer them.

I want to thank Tim, Kouros & Steve for your help. Your advise is appreciated.

As mentioned, Viewpoint has a pretty good selection of meshes in the Anatomy
category. We have whole bodies with the internal organs. Some of the sets of
organs are in position so that everything "fits". To get an idea of what we
have you might want to look at titles such as: Body Adventure by Knowledge
Adventure, Body Works and A.D.A.M.s have all used the Viewpoint library for
their titles.
Give us a call @ 800.DATASET or 801-229-3000 or fax @ 801-229-3300
The best person to talk to is Casey Johnson.
Good Luck,

You mentioned, that meshes from Viewpoint are being used in some
Multimedia Titles. Can meshes form Viewpoint be used roalty free?
