In regard to smoothing, after looking at the manual, I realize that I can smooth adjacent edges by having the same smoothing group number. However, is there a way to adjust the amount of smoothing. Sort of like adjust the radius of the smoothing. I am thinking of computer keyboard keys. The interface between the top surface and the tapered sides has a very small radius (smoothing), but the interface between the four sides has a very large radius (compared to the top). Any suggestions here are welcome. Thanks, Dennis

Dennis, As far as I know, smoothing groups won't help out wiht that… they only define whether adjacent faces are rendered with gouraud (or higher) shading, or are rendered with flat shading. The best would be to model it in the Lofter.

<<I realize that I can smooth adjacent edges by having the same smoothing group number. Check out Chapter 7 in the reference manual, the topic of smoothing is covered pretty heavily. -brian
