Hi, I just installed a Kurta XGT 6×9 Tablet on my computer. This tablet works well under MSWindows but I can't get it to work inside 3D Studio. I have tried INPUT-DEVICE=MOUSE, =SUMMA, and =DGPADI. Not go… 3DS can "see" it in mouse mode, but I can only access a fraction of the screen (maybe 30%). This is the same for DGPADI. I tried using the Config…/Tablet/Area business but it doesn't seem to help. Kinda frustrating. Does anyone have this tablet working with 3DS? I'd love to hear from you. Thanks, Mark Meier

I use the Artpad with no problems, I installed it as a mouse in dos with the Kurta dos drivers. Make sure your com port is addressed in the 3DS.set file. But I sure could ues a NT driver , did Kurta ship one with your pad?

Thanks for the info Brandon. I don't think it came with an NT driver – I'm stuck with the mouse for now… I'll be rendering all night but will try the mouse driver with 3ds in the morning… Thanks, Mark

Run your K_mouse file in your kurta directory ( I think thats the correct file name) in one of the pull done menus select relative positioning. This should reconfigure for your DOS sessions after you exit. I'm not at the Kurta's computer at the moment hope this from vague memory stuff helps. If it doesn't and no one else jumps in E-mail me And I 'll be able to give detailed info on Mon.

Scott, >>Run your K_mouse file in your kurta directory << I'll try it in the morning when I'm done rendering (I am looking forward to r5/NT – I could try it _and_ render…). Thanks, Mark
