Mark, As per the ZIP drives, they're put out by the folks at IOMEGA. Both SCSI and Parallel Port versions are available. I hear the parallel port version is significantly slower, though. The SCSI is a bit slower than a hard drive, but pretty good compared to other removable media. Apparently you can drop them from about 8 feet and they'll be cool. The drives just came out in March and should be available most anywhere by now. For more info I'd try calling the company or checking out some recent mags. That's about all I know. Happy trails. Alan

Mark Just found out a little more about the ZIP drive. The parallel port version is indeed slower, about 2-5 times as slow, I hear. The one bummer thing I've heard about the drive so far is the external power supply (big & bulky). I'm told they sell an optional, smaller power supply for like $40. Alan
