Turtle Beach makes the Tropez. Its SB compatible has a wave table built on
and has an IDE CD ROM interface.. If you add RAM you can also do digital
sampleing. From talking to the guys from Turtle Beach at a show the
audio recording portion should be the same, but they wouldnt commit to that,
but they would commit to it sampleing correctly with no time shifts.
I've recorded WAV and MIDI output with it and its very clean as far as I can
hear but I havent put a scope or spectrum analyzer on it.
I also have tried to do some lip sync with Razor but its tuff without being
able to record both at the same time.. Come On DPS wheres that option.. :<
Bob from The Design Shop..
Thanks Bob for the info. It sounds a possible but as I must order the board
today I may go with the Monterey. I too have hours of lip sync ahead under the
same impossible circumstances–so when am I going to have time to play games
anyway…thanks, Chris
