Can somebody tell what the PAL version of the Par is currently
selling for in U.S.
I read that the PVR will sell for the same price but as yet I don't
know how much that is.
The agent in Australia wants $4995 + tax for a Par. (What a
dreamer.)
I'm hoping to buy a PVR towards the end of the year but would like to
know how much I need to
save.

The PAL Version of the PAR should be selling for $2495.

I can't seem to get the conner CFA540 drive anymore, so would the CFS540A drive
work with the PAR??
If anyone knows, please drop us a line!

As far as I know the only drives that we've used with the existing PAR have
been the Micropolis 2217A which you may still be able to find. and the CFA
1275A -Drive which is a 1.27Gig.
I don't know about those other's.

I wonder what the governing criteria for drives with the PAR is?
There are plenty that seemingly meet or exceed the transfer rates, but don't
work with it…. Interesting.
