Animator Studio is Great! Good job Autodesk. Keep those plug-ins and upgrades coming, and it will be the best. Animator Pro has become a standard tool at Sierra for editing 3D animation, character animation, and video capture. We will continue to use it to edit large 8-bit animations until the speed on Animator Studio improves. Our development is largely in windows, so Animator Studio is the obvious choice for us. People are concerned about speed, but many people work on 486 — machines with 16 meg RAM. There are obvious improvements to speed on faster machines with more RAM. One of the biggest weaknesses has to be the load and save time on 8-bit animations with large numbers of frames. We use Animator Pro to load and edit video streams of blue-screened actors. These sequences can have several hundred frames, and the time it takes to load and save in Animator Studio is prohibitive. Keep up the good work, and give SGI a run for their money, Jon Bock

Jon – Thanks for the software "pat on the back" <G> I've forwarded it on to Bob Henderson so he can pass the load/save suggestion on to the proper person. Anne
