#Animation Support Lib's
5 messages in this thread
A few month ago I heard that controlling Animations with the Animation Support
Libraries is much easier and more comfortable than with the standard MCI
interface of the Windows 3.1 SDK.
At that time it was too late, and I found nobody who knew about the Libraries.
Know our next project is to build a CBT for Windows '96 :>). Can you give me a
address where I can get the Library in Austria (Vienna).
Are you planning a Library for Windows '95, or do you have one ready to test,
or does the Library for WFW 3.11 runs quite well under Windows '95 ???
Questions, questions, questions. And I need an answer very soon, because we
have to start YESTERDAY, and the program should be running the day before :>)
!!!
Thanks,
Roman

Using MCI commands is easier on the programmer, but you have a limited command
set. For full functionality of the .DLL file you would have to make calls the
.DLL directly.

I am sorry, we have not tested the current libraries under Windows 95 at all. I
don't have any information on whether they would work or not. Also, I am not
allowed to talk about future releases of software or developers kits.
