Has anyone had experience with a product called OPTI-NET for making CDs
available through a LAN? Or, does anyone know of any technical reviews of
this product e.g, in magazines?
We have a Novell 3.11 LAN, so would be especially interested in info on how
this product works under Netware, e.g., I think they have an NLM version?

I've got about 30 customers nationwide that are using Opti-Net to network
CD-ROM on Novell (and a few LanTastic) systems. There is an NLM version.
(cavet: I work for Reed Reference Publishing; Reed Publishing USA owns
Online, the developer of Opti-Net. We're a dealer, so we're hardly
unbiased.)

I am using the Optinet Netbios product and am very satisfied with it. If
their Netware offering is similar in quality, I would expect very few
problems.
