Hi, I've just uploaded a couple of more simple meshes as STUFF2.zip, in case anyone cares. I am reluctantly u/l these, as I sloppily *threw* them together….didn't even use drafting aids to square up lines, etc.. (so don't tell me <g>) This is all I had time to do, and they only took a few minutes each. Included is 2 examples of simple common objects, which aren't necessariliy so geometrically simple. That is, they're not so easy to construct quickly with most modelers. Please find a sculptured keycap and a mouse (not mickey). They are only uploaded as 2 examples of "normal" (not Skin lattices) DXF conversions into 3DS from Real 3D. Please examine & render to observe that they shade pretty well with no modification or tweaking, even though the geometry might suggest otherwise. Check it out. Oh, John Stetzer has been testing and providing me feedback for the book, and he has created some nice stuff already to upload. Please look for those too. Thanks, BILL

They're up in ASHOWCASE as JWSSHIP1.JPG and JWSSHIP2.JPG. I had a similar problem and couldn't upload to the Images library here in AMMEDIA. John Stetzer JWS

John – Would you let me know if you have anymore problems uploading the any of the libraries? I've double checked all their access and it should be open for everyone. Anne

>>Would you let me know if you have anymore problems uploading the any of the libraries? Will do; FWIW, my message was the same as Bill's (something to the effect of uploads not permitted to this library), and I'm using WinCIM 1.4. John Stetzer JWS

John and Bill – I've taken this problem over to the Sysop Forum to see if anyone else there is having this upload problem. Will let you know if I have an answer – and you both might go to the WINCIM Support forum in Basic Services and drop a note. Really confusing since the libraries are open and both of your member settings are for all of the public libraries – and the uploads came through?? AAARRRGGG!! Anne
