#Rend. to File Bug?
3 messages in this thread
If trueSpace is installed in another directory, Render to File produces an
'incorrect file type' error. Install trueSpace in (say), c:\apps\truspace and
try render-to-file on any object or scene. A message box with the above error
pops up. Now if we move the directory to c:\, then everything works normally.
Is there a workaround for this problem if we cannot move the directory up one
level (as in our case) ?
We need a fix badly and urgently! I've something due on 5/15!

I have tS installed in 'D:\GRAPHICS\TRUSPACE' and have no problems… make
sure that if you are rendering an AVI, that you have AVI selected in the file
type drop down (etc, etc)….
Hope this helps,
Rob
I've always ensured that the filetype is correct and that the extension is
specified under the filename. Let me check again.
