Dear Michael, I would love to be able to upload some of my digital samples
for the Amiga. Unfortunately I only currently have a modem hooked up to my
IBM386 and thus there is no way for me to do that. I do plan at some point
in the future however to purchase a modem and that will follow though with
your request. In the meanwhile this method seems to be working as I have
had a dozen responses to my ad in the classified

You should be able to write to an MS-DOS formatted disk using a program in
the libraries here. I believe it is called Multidos, but one of the SYSOPS
should be able to provide the exact name. If you get this then you'll be
able to move your amiga files to that IBM386 and upload some samples.
There is also a commercial program called CROSSDOS that allows the Amiga
to read/write and format MSDOS disks on the Amiga. Even use the high
density disk format if you have an Amiga High Density drive.
That modem can also be shared with your Amiga if you don't mind moving the
cable back and forth or have a switch box available.

If you don't have CrossDos for the Amiga, you might consider getting it.
At about $30 retail, it will allow you to write your files directly to
MSDOS formatted floppy disks, which you can then put in your 386, and
upload the files. In fact, there are even shareware programs in our
libraries here that will allow you to do the same thing (but CrossDos is
by far the best, and best supported program for this purpose).

to add to the other two's comments: CrossDOS is included in AmigaOS 2.1
and 3.0. It is completely transparent to the system so you can use PC
disks from ANY Amiga application as if they were Amiga disks.
