#lj 4 Si Drivers

I just download the lj4 family drivers and install lj4Si in the print manager.
The printer is coming up as paused. I tried resuming , but it immediately
returns to paused status. The printer itself is in the ready status. Why is
it always paused??

You might not have it pointing to the correct connection. If the printer is on
LPT1, for example, make sure the 4Si driver is set to LPT1 and not some other
port.

It looks like the LPT1 port is not enabled. The connect says LPT1 local port
not present.

It looks like you may have found the problem. To which port is the printer
physically connected? Are you on a network? Is it possible that the network
software is remapping the physical LPT1 to the network so that it won't work
locally?
