#4P or 5P ?

I was just on the verge of getting a 4P printer, only to find that there is now
a 5P printer, at roughly the same cost. Does one have advantages over the
other? Has the 4P been discontinued? If so, should I be looking for closeout
prices on the 4P? Also, does the 5P support HPGL/2, like the 4 series does? One
place also told me that the 5P has been temporarily recalled. Can anyone clear
up some of this stuff for me, so I can make some kind of informed decision? I
haven't found a salesman that appears to be anything more than an appliance
salesman, and they know next to nothing about the differences between these
printers.

Look at the following files in library 4:

The 5P/MP does replace the 4P/MP. I've heard from HP that there is a $250
rebate available on the purchase of a 4P. I believe the 5P/MPs are shipping
again now.
I bought a 5MP because I liked the idea of the faster speed, the MP was only
$150 more than the 5P, and the additional paper handling.

The best reason for buying a 5P over a 4P is that the 4P has been
discontinued.

I called H.P. about this, and it only applies to the 4V. ;(
