Tim, have you considered copying off everything you might want from that
486, erasing any personal stuff and licensed software you want to keep the
licenses of, and donating the computer to a local school, church, or charity
organization as a tax write-off? A 486/33 may not be considered useful to YOU
anymore, but there are plenty of charitable or educational organizations for
whom it WOULD be useful, and you'd get some of your money back come taxtime!

I thought about it, but then I would be completely without a computer at home,
and It still comes in handy for word processing and such, even though I haven't
turned it on in six weeks.
