Please help… I'm working on a forensic reconstruction of an auto accident and I need help with the dynamics invloved in an accident. Does anyone know what good sources are available fort this. I'm guessing that there has to be some material (printed or Internet) available for accident reconstructions or do i have to get into the real math and vector calculations involved 🙁 thanx in advance for any information… Eduardo Salido Salido Productions

What is your objective? We haven't done any "automobile accident reconstructions", to date. What we _have_ done is CNC machining simulations. Probably much simpler, but I think the general concept is the same. In our case, we only do the _animation_ associated with the reconstruction (or simulation). We have the customer supply the relevant data, usually from an engineering firm. This approach allows us to remain focused on producing quality animation, and not become distracted into other fields of study. — James — Choreo Motion —

Eduardo, If you are not already a qualified expert, then you might be getting yourself into a bad position. All the numbers should come from the expert that the attorney has hired. I would go back to the attorney and ask him/her for the experts name so that you can get the numbers from him, this will put the monkey on her back. Regards………..Rick – Technical Animations
