I have a friend who is looking for a war / strategy type game
that can be played by two or more people and if possible on more than
one machine at once. Does anyone know of such a program or the phone
number / name of a software house who might do this sort of thing.

most of the gamers hang out, and where you are most likely to get the

As to 'war' – there used to be FALCON (by Spectrum Holobyte/MirorSoft), a jet
fighter simulation which could be played by two people simultaneously with the
machines connected via modem or null-modem cable.
