Chris: If you have an Amiga that has AmigaDOS 2.1 or above then you already have the capability to format/read/write disks in the PC format using CrossDos. CrossMac or MaxDOS (both commercial programs under $100) for the Amiga will read/write between Mac and Amiga formats and have options to handle data/resource forks and such like. A free demo of CrossMac (should be on line here) works but is crippled in one direction (only reads from Mac, I believe). Someone else here mentioned the Mac<===>MS-DOS<===>Amiga alternative, which works well as long as you understand the Mac's twin-fork issues. You can also try Shapeshifter, a software Mac emulator for the Amiga (crippled demo version) or a couple of commercial Mac emulators: Emplant and AMAX, each of which seamlessly handle cross-format disk copying upon the Amiga platform. Yet another option, if your two machines are close by, is to run a null modem cable between them using terminal software on each machine.
