#The horrible Escom logo
10 messages in this thread
Isn't the Escom logo horrible.
Jeff Walker.
The Escom logo is just as bad as the old commodore one. I like the commodore
one just for the reason I have had a CBM computer for ten years and got used to
it.
They could put any logo on it as long as they are serious in developing the
technology and aren't just in it for a quick production run and then drop it
like a hot potato.
How soon would it be before they recoup their investment?
Do you reckon they will sell the new badges for owners of old Amiga equipment?
Phill
I would imagine they'll use just the old Amiga logo. But remember there's no
reason why Escom cannot continue to badge them "C= Commodore Amiga".

Hmmm .. just thinking …
ESC=OM ??
or maybe just
E=
or you could expand it to be:
2
E=MC
or if an anagram enthusiast still wants to use all the letters of ESCOM:
2 2
SO: E=MC or E=MC O/S
Sigh. It's not even late at night. I have no excuse.

nice idea, escom logo is ok, but after a recent visit to the high PC tech store
i am confused as to where the amiga fits in??????
Phillip,

I've yet to see it, what does it look like? I have no problem with the C=
logo as a logo (artistically) my only problem is the associations I have with
it (bad company).

Best I can manage here is…
ES~COM
… in a tall, thin, sanserif face. The S and C have this white rectangular
blob between them, sort of joining them together. Always looks like a printing
mistake to me.

Maybe it was. Logos…what to do? 🙂
I do suspect they may design an Amiga logo for the new Amiga Technologies
G??H. Someone ought to suggest they have a contest amoung Amiga users, winner
gets a 4000 or 4000T. 🙂
