I just upgraded from Animator Pro 1.0 to 1.3. Version 1.0 worked fine. If I select any video driver except the default =MCGA.DRV then Ver 1.3 blows up when I click on load, save or delete in the file screen. The message is: Abnormal Program Termination: Page Fault CS:EIP = 000Ch:00004458h I can use browse to load files without any problems. I removed all TSR's and tried a different VESA driver in my autoexec.bat. No help. I have a Genoa 7900 VGA card with 1meg in a 386/25 with 4 meg. What's going wrong?

Hmmm. I had a Genoa 7900 (not local bus) card which ran fine with Animator Pro 1.3 on a COMPAQ 386/25. Is it fair to say that you were able to run 1.0 correctly, and can still run 1.0 correctly after 1.3 failed? If that's the case, can you let us know the driver & version you're using? Make sure you're booting up without any config.sys and autoexec.bat, so that you have to reply to DATE and TIME prompts, before you load the VESA driver. Don't load the mouse yet; see if it fails just with the VESA driver, then ANIPRO 1.3. Nik

Nik- Thanks for the help. I removed my autoexec.bat and config.sys files, re-booted then loaded the Vesa driver. Samething. AAPro 1.3 crashes when I access the files screen (If I use any screen size except the default). Version 1.0 works fine. I tried 2 Vesa drivers; G1MVESA.COM (8/20/91) from Genoa and TLIVESA (4/11/91) from Autodesk. I don't know the driver versions. Update: I just downloaded VESA79.COM (1/9/93) off the Genoa BBS and I still have the problem. What next? -David Wike
