I've been trying to have a look at SL9A-MPIA.anim. It says it is viewable with
Viewtek but I'm having no luck….any suggestions?

What is the filename of the anim and what library is it in?
Its name is SL9.LHA (I think, its an animation of the Shumaker-Levy comet
colliding with Jupiter). Its in the Animations lib 13. I'll check to make
sure after this session.

If that is the file (SL9.LHA) it is viewable with ViewTek.
Thanks Steve,
I have unpacked the archive and placed it in my "animations" drawer. When ever
I chose the file from my Veiwtek file requester I get alot of disc activity and
then I am returned to the file requester. I even tried "make anim7" and it did
the same thing? Any suggestions?

It animates fine for me using ViewTek. I have ViewTek setup on a ToolManager
dock … I simply drag the anim's icon and drop it on ViewTek's dock … an
animation plays.
You might not have enough ram.
it maybe that you need xpklibraries or you may have to force it to open a ntsc
pal screen in viewtek.either that or itnneeds powerpacker.library to view
Thanks, I'm still working on it. On the mp103 program, I DLed a GUI interface
program to go with it but it says I need GadTools lib v39…any idea where I
could find that? You've been very helpful, thanks.

I'm running WB3.1 and I don't have that library, but the GUI interface doesn't
complain at all.

I think it's refering to gadtools.library in the classes secton of workbench
3.0,but it may be just for compiling it or something. It also maynot work with
less than 3.0 but it may work anyway cause i don't lnow, cause i have 3.0
