if you've got the money, how much is a 24 bit display card?

Yeah, I would be sorry. Not that I am against Apple but the software I want to
run, LightWave, won't be out on the MAC for a while, if ever, and after being
orphaned I would rather get a more universal computer.
I believe that the MAC is slowly headed the way of our own beloved AMIGA…
so go for a Pentium machine! It isn't half of the computer my trusty old A2000
is with its GVP 040 accelerator but then it has 20 billion programs ready to go
now.
!Que Viva La Amiga!

Its not that I think the MACs will die soon but just that there is more support
for the PC.
I got my Pentium-100 a few days ago and have been having `fun' with it. Some
things are slower than my Amiga but others are TONS faster.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. While I LOVE the Amiga OS, I must say that
I think the PC/WIN world will get a BIG boost soon and with all the available
software make the Amiga just a memory.
