Ed, PMFJI, but you're done. Record it to tape. Why do you want to record the sequence back into the Flyer? Just save it as a project, then use the project/project screen to add it into a bigger project later. To get the storyboard moving…press the tab key or click on the right facing arrow in the middle controls bar. The Flyer cuts and sequences just that easy. The only thing I might add to your sequence is a black framestore at the begining so that I would have some black at the beginning of the tape that I was to record my Toaster output to. Heck I'd even put a black FS a~ the end too. Cheers, Stan Shumlick Happiness is only a render away…

Thanks for the tid bits…… I had framestores with the camera effect between them….but it took to long —I had to have about 5 seconds beteen each. I just found out that stills work better by recording a clip and the bringing the bars together in the cutting room….then you can set how long you want that still. So recorded two stills at a time using the Switcher… I think I got what I need…. Also just found out about the HQ Mode- Unfortuneately it seems my hard frive has a had time playing tha mode back…sure looks great though. WHAT IS FLIGHT GEART????

Ed, You need to re-enter the HQ 5 mode screen and hit cancel to activate it so that clips recorded with HQ 5 will playback without problems. (Hold down the R-alt, L-Alt and Tilde keys, then select HQ 5 and click continue). Flight Gear is a SW front end for the Flyer. Frank Vanella or Jerry Saperstein would be able to tell you more than I could. Guys, you want to chime in? Cheers, Stan Happiness is only a render away…

Stan: A clarification: Frank is one of the Flite Gear experts around here. I was just so impressed by what Harold Russell, it's creator, had to say, I ordered it but haven't had time to install it yet. Jerry

From what I understand, several of us here have been urging Harold Russell of Atomic to establish a presence here. He really ought to – because he's the guy who can explain Flite Gear. After all, he wrote it. I don't have his brochure in front of me right now, but I will try to remember to post excerpts of it tomorrow if someone doesn't provide an explanation first. Jerry

Thanks Stan….a little confusing though… You said re-enter HQ5mode then cancil then you said enter HQ5 and hit continue….??? I guess I will try both…THANKS.
