I would like to take two video signal, synchronize them and display them simultaneously on my computer. It this technically possible. I understand there are software packages that can take two video signals and produce a main and inset picture. What are my options. Please Help!

David, There is a device called the Movie Machine from Fast Electronics that I believe will do what you want to do, create a main and inset picture. It takes two video inputs and I believe that it comes with software that would allow you to create a picture in picture type effect.

John is correct. The Movie Machine Pro turns your PC into a digital video mixer for under $500. You can do several different A/B wipe effects including picture in picture. For more info and specs, send me your mailing address, and I'll get you out a free copy of "THe Desk Top Video Handbook". It is loaded with product info, a DTV glossary and more!
