I need to get some advice on how to build a VHS tape presentation that will have the following components: – About 30 to 40 minutes of Hi-8 Video – 2D Animation – Transitions between segments of the presentation – Bulleted Text (ala PowerPoint) – Some Text Overlay I already have all of the 2D Animation tools, PowerPoints, a Pentium, Plenty of Memory, Camera, etc. I just need to know the right tool to put it all together and put it out to VHS tape. Quality of the output image on the tape is also important. Your help is greatly appreciated. Noel Jerke

Noel, The easiest thing to do is to find someone with both hi-8 and VHS decks in their post suite. This is not all that rare. I am totally sold on non-linear editing, and feel you best and quickest route is to go this way. Our editing suite is based on the Media-100 editing system, and I swear by it. Besides ease of use I can add text overlays as I am editng, without going outside the program, and can import graphic, animation, and photos from almost any Mac program such as Adobe Photoshop, Infine-D, and Logomotion. Regards, T.J.
