Greg: I've just tried out PAROUT for the first time, no go. I've got a big render coming up and I'm gonna need to use it so HELP! Pertinent info: RAM=72MB QEMM Conventional memory used before starting 3DS 102 kbytes. I have tried starting 3ds with and without 3dshell. I have added the PAROUT entry to the menu of programs. The utilities I have are dated 2/95. Problem: When I attempt to start the program I get the message "No RAM for Program". I don't think my problem is with the PAROUT IPAS but in my configuration but I'm not sure. Both the PARCTRL and the PARIFL work fine. I'm hoping its something easy, thanks for any assistance. Bob

Bob: >> I have added the PAROUT entry to the menu of programs. >> When I attempt to start the program I get the message "No RAM for >> Program". Aha, a common error! <vbg> PAROUT is an IXP, which means you have to run it from the Video Post module of 3DS, not a PXP which can be run from the pulldowns! This is the error message which 3DS gives if you try this! Don't feel bad, I've had a few calls on this before. Put it in as the last process in your VP queue and watch it smoke! Greg Pyros
