I saw in MacWeek that the Turbo 601 for Mac IIci is priced at $999 but belgian
dealers are shipping it to around $2000 or more !!!
What's wrong ?!

There are two models of the Turbo 601: the 66 MHz version is US $999, a 100 MHz
version is US $1799. Taxes, shipping charges and exchange rates can affect the
final cost in international markets.

Given the large disparity between european and US prices. Is
the daystar warranty still available if a product is purchased
directly from the US by mail order. Even paying import duty and freight charges
it is still more economic to do this.

The product would be covered only by DayStar's manufacturers warranty. Your
local dealer would be under no obligation to assist with or accept the return
of DayStar products purchased from a US dealer.
