#Turbo 040 ROM upgrade
4 messages in this thread
I have just read your message here saying that ROM v4.11 & QuadControl v2.3 are
necessary to get my Turbo 040 board to work with System 7.5. My ROM version is
1.06 (How could I have missed such so many ROM upgrade!!?) and I guess I need
the ROM upgrade ASAP. Could you tell me how to receive my new ROM? I'm now
living in Japan and if you have any agent here whom I can contact that would be
convinient.
Cheers,

I can help our International customers with ROM upgrades. Email your name,
address, day telephone number and credit card information (VISA, MasterCard,
AmEx with expiration date) and I will process the order. The cost is $50 and
includes air shipping to Japan.

Greg, the RAM disk program Maxima 3.0 from Connectix stopped working on my IIci
when I upgraded my Turbo 040 ROM from v1.06 to v4.01. Now I see that the
latest Turbo 040 ROM v4.11 is available for $50.
What benefits will I get if I upgrade the Turbo 040 ROM from v4.01 to v4.11?
Will it fix the problem with Maxima 3.0?
Thanks for your help.

No, the ROM v4.11 does not fix this. Connectix is working on an update to their
Maxima program. Contact them for additional information.
