Which, if any, of DayStar's PowerPC upgrade boards will work in a Quadra 610? Brian

>>Which, if any, of DayStar's PowerPC upgrade >>boards will work in a Quadra 610? As of now, we have the 100 MHz PowerPro 601 that will work with the Quadra 610. The StarPrice for the 100 MHz PowerPro 601 is $1799. Along with the 100 MHz PowerPro 601, you will also need to obtain an adapter for the Quadra/Centris 610 only. The StarPrice of the adapter is $109. Hope that this helps, and thanks for your interest is DayStar products. Bill Waits DayStar Digital

>>As of now, we have the 100 MHz PowerPro 601 that will work with the Quadra 610. What about Apple's old Power Macintosh Upgrade Card that they sold to you? Didn't the deal go through? I seem to remember just reading a message here that said you would offer that card–for only $499. (Wishful thinking? I hope not. No disrespect, but $1799 is way out of my financial league.) Brian

Apple's PowerPC Upgrade card will appear under the DayStar logo later this summer, a specific ETA is not available at this time. An adapter will be required for installation in the Quadra/Centris 610. Pricing has not been released but is expected to be in the $500 ball park. Greg Erickson DayStar Digital
