I have just sold my old Macintosh IIci, but without the PowerCache 50 MHz. I have now a used Quadra 950 and I am now looking for a PowerPC upgrade card. Is it possible to upgrade from the PowerCache 50MHz with FPU to the PowerPro 601 80MHz with Ram and /or the PowerPro601 100MHz? I can also offer my Turbo 040 40MHz for this upgrade procedure. What are my upgrade costs for each card? Thanks again! P.S. : I have received my Turbo 040 upgrade ROM from you in zero time!

To upgrade the 50 MHz PowerCache to the 80 MHz PowerPro, your upgrade cost is $1577. To upgrade the 50 MHz PowerCache to the 100 MHz PowerPro, your upgrade cost is $933. If you do want to upgrade, download our Universal Upgrade Form from our forum here on CompuServe (MACAVEN, Section 6, Software Library), and fax it to 404-967-3018. >>I can also offer my Turbo 040 40MHz for >>this upgrade procedure. Our Universal Upgrade Program only allows room for a one board swop. You can also trade in your Turbo 040 for either a PowerPro 601 or a Turbo 601. Hope that this helps, and thanks for your continued interest in DayStar products. Bill Waits DayStar Digital
