Hello again Ian: You seem to be one of the resident animation experts so I'll send these to you… 1) I always have a very hard time animating a simple sphere rotating! It seems that unless I rotate it just the right amount between keys I end up with either uneven rotation speed, jerky rotation or back&forth rotation! Do you have any suggestions? 2) If I have a certain object in a scene that should not have any motion until a certain frame–I follow the manual's tips… keying it before movement. But when all is done, the object in question will exhibit several frames of negative movement before the "corerect" movement starts! Again any suggestions? I really appreciate it. Regards, Art

Arthur, 1)The answers to both these questions can be found on page 21 in the tS manual. Rotating a sphere will get goofy unless you set rotation spline parameters to Sharp. 2) Again, setting all spline parameters (Move, Rotate, Scale) to Sharp will remove the problem. Or, say your object does its animation between frame 60 and 90. Set the animation from 0 to 30. Then open the Project Window and slide the black trapezoid denoting the objetcs animation to the right, until it starts at 60. Ta Da! Ian
